Jennifer Lopez is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, practicing in both North and South Carolina. She is passionate about medical and surgical dermatology, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care for the entire family. With over 25 years of experience in the medical field, Jennifer has found her passion in medical dermatology and conservative aesthetics focusing on patient-centered care.

Jennifer’s goal is clear: to deliver top-quality medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care. To achieve this, she has adopted a direct-care practice model, which places patients at the center of their care, eliminating distractions from insurance companies and government regulations.

Biography

Originally from California, Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacramento State University, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the University of California, Davis, a Level 1 trauma hospital.

In 2003, Jennifer moved to the Carolinas, continuing her nursing career in Emergency Departments, Outpatient Surgery Centers, and Urgent Care. She later graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama with a Master’s degree and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

After completing her studies, Jennifer pursued her passion for dermatology and aesthetics, working in a busy hospital dermatology clinic serving the Northlake region. During this time, she gained invaluable experience working alongside a highly skilled Mohs surgeon.

In 2024, Jennifer brought her dermatology expertise to the Lake Wylie, SC region, where she has lived for over 20 years. She remains deeply committed to helping her patients look and feel their best and is known for empowering patients by ensuring they fully understand their conditions.
